DieMond Tool Grinding (DTG) specializes in servicing and selling cutting tools to metalworking companies. We can cover your needs from the spindle to the table, or from the spindle to the turret. Our capabilites range from sharpening worn cutting tools to manufacturing special form tools. We distribute new cutting tools, work holding devices and tool holders (primarily the YG-1 line).
DTG is owned by Peter McKane – a former tool and die maker and tool-room foreman for the metal stamping industry in New York and Florida. And, because of his machining experience, he has the knowledge to assist his customers through all of their machining needs.
Peter started DieMond Tool Grinding in May of 1999 out of his garage, and then moved into an industrial unit in April of 2000. He has steadily grown DTG into a well respected tool grinding shop in the Sarasota/Bradenton area of Florida, by offering cutting tool solutions and a metalworking knowledge to assist his customers.
Today DTG is a full service cutting tool company. We offer much more than the average sharpening shops and cutting tool distributors.
We can fulfill all the requirements that are needed by most machining companies, through the distribution of new tools, sharpening worn tools, and manufacturing special form tools.
